West Valley Muslim Association (WVMA) in collaboration with North American Islamic Shelter for the Abused (NISA) is thrilled to announce that we are bringing the Muslim Marriage Rejuvenation Retreat to the South Bay Area on May 6 & 7, 2023!
In this one-of-a-kind Marriage Retreat, couples will get the depth of experience that Shaykh Suhail Mulla and Ustadha Lobna Mulla have shared with multiple communities over the past two decades. The Muslim Marriage Rejuvenation Retreat integrates research-based interventions, utilizing the highly-effective Gottman method, with Islamic principles.
A hands-on, systematic approach integrating several instructional methods including brief lectures, couples’ and group exercises, role plays, group debriefs and problem-solving is utilized to help couples rejuvenate their marriage.
Couples who attend will learn practical steps on how to:
The focus is on you and your spouse. Each couple will be seated at their own private table throughout the retreat to ensure their privacy.
Since this is an active learning process for couples, both husband and wife must attend together.

To ensure a more intimate setting, registration is limited to 30 couples.
Registration includes two full days of in-person sessions, program materials, meals, and childcare (for children above the age of 2). We are working on arranging for babysitting for infants.
The cost is $300.00 per couple. Register by March 17, 2023 for early-bird admission at $250 per couple.
Refund Policy:
You can obtain a full refund until March 17, 2023. For cancellations between March 17, 2023 and April 15, 2023, 50% will be deducted. No refunds after April 15, 2023.
WVMA and NISA have a standing policy that no one will be turned away for lack of funds.
