Dear NISA Supporters,
Assalamu ‘Alaykum,
We hope that the blessed month of Ramadan brings you and your family many blessings. In reflecting upon the year and the bounties Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala has provided us, we humbly request that you include NISA in your list of worthy causes to support. NISA is able to accept Zakat and Sadaqa funds, and utilizes them locally.
With the compassionate support of our donors, we have accomplished much this past year:
- Received 874 client calls on NISA’s toll-free hotline
- Operated the NISA home & Transitional Home at 100% occupancy
- Assisted 15 families, with children, in overcoming the challenges of domestic violence
- Provided legal assistance, financial aid, reimbursement for ESL classes, and career development to the residents of the NISA Home
- Held counseling services and workshops to the greater community, and conducted community outreach and education to raise awareness about domestic violence
You can also champion our efforts by sharing our mission with your family and friends. We are also looking for dedicated volunteers to help us in a variety of areas. Visit our website at asknisa.org to learn more.
